The Ophthalmology practice of Matthew E. Schmidt, M.D. and Associates, S.C., provides medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases as well as general eye care to patients of all ages. The practice was founded by esteemed physician, Paul J. Schmidt, M.D., who first practiced as an eye doctor in Chicago at 79th and Western Avenue, in the 1950's. Even today we continue to provide eye exams and glasses for some of our original patients. We have been serving the people of the Chicago land area, at our current location in Palos Heights, for over forty years.
